Hemorrhoids
At least 40% of the adult population at some point of their lives will suffer from hemorrhoids or piles. Basically they are a mass of dilated veins in swollen tissue at the margin of the anus or nearby within the rectum.
The most common symptom of internal hemorrhoids is bright red blood covering the feces, on toilet paper, and/or in the toilet bowl. However, an internal hemorrhoid may protrude through the anus outside the body, becoming irritated and painful.
If you currently have hemorrhoids, avoid these following 3 causes:
- Eating too much processed food – it’s known that processed foods create harder stool and troubles in digestion causing constipation and other issues which can lead to hemorrhoids. The key here, especially when you are suffering and trying to cure hemorrhoids, is to lower your intake of processed sugars and foods and increase water consumption.
- Leading too sedentary a lifestyle – long term sitting can causes pressure on the rectal area combined with the sharp force of constipation or pregnancy creates a perfect condition for hemorrhoids to occur. An easy solution here is to make sure you do not sit for over 1 hour at a time, remembering to do stretches to promote healthy blood flow.
- Taking processed medication and creams – This creates the same potential
problem as processed foods. Even many of the fiber supplements contain processed and artificial elements that can create side-effects elsewhere while not even attacking the root of the problem here.
Avoiding these 3 conditions is just the beginning but at least it will help to keep your hemorrhoids from worsening. It is ultimately important to remember that our modern lifestyle of sedentary office work, processed foods, convenient diets are major contributions to our problem. Any non-proactive approach toward addressing the root causes of hemorrhoids will only lead to additional suffering some time down the road.
